Brief Histroy: Gateway Polytechnic Saapade was established vide the Enabling law NO. H.B 30/OG/2005 which was passed by the Ogun State House of Assembly and assented to by His Excellency, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, the Governor of Ogun State on 27th February, 2006. The Polytechnic was commissioned on Thursday 22nd June, 2006 as an Information and Communications Technology (ICT) based institution. The mission statement of the school is: “To promote ICT as an instrument of mass education, provide ICT driven quality education, empower the individual to be competent, responsible citizens who value education as a lifelong process.”
