Brief Histroy: The 1980’s marked a turning point in the history of polytechnic education in Nigeria. The need for skilled innovative and technological oriented manpower for the technology base of the nation’s economy was emphasized by the Federal Government. Thus, Temple Gate Polytechnic Aba, Abia State seeks to become a centre of excellence in Science and Technology by training high level manpower capable of contributing to the development of the Nigerian society.
