Motto: A Key to Academic Success

Brief Histroy: Buckingham Polytechnic was conceptualized by a group of Nigerians who trained and sojourned in Great Britain. These Nigerians admired the monumental achievements of Great Britain especially her contribution towards world civilization, technology, good governance, and peace. These Nigerians considered Buckingham Palace in central London worthy of exaltation, being the official residence of the British monarch, from where Britain had ruled almost the entire world and made policies and decisions that made Britain great. Before the advent of information and communication technology (ICT), Buckingham Palace had taken giant strides to narrow the world to a global village through English Language, which is the most popular language around the world. The founders of Buckingham Polytechnic have set out to achieve the following: ?To develop human capital through the introduction of British mode of Technical education in Nigeria. ?To empower Nigerian youths with special training to create jobs through skills acquisition and personal capacity building.
